When I was teaching Preschool, my kids loved playing with magnetic letters and also writing with a white board marker....in fact those were the two most popular areas in my room when I had the items out.
The letters can be used to do the alphabet, copy word cards that you make up or write a word on the board, make a pattern or spell out their own words.
The white board and markers are great for practicing their letters, drawing pictures, or just scribbling. Holding onto the marker promotes fine motor skills and also key to helping them hold a pencil correctly when writing on paper.
